Prostahelp

Prostahelp favorably affects the function of the prostate gland in men or already overt symptoms of benign (cariogenic) enlargement of the prostate. Normal prostate gland is the size of chestnuts after the 40th year, and most likely due to hormonal reasons it begins to grow. The enlargement is due to the growth of glandular tissue, leading to compression of the urethra and bladder and to block urine flow. More than half of men after the age of 55 have symptoms such as frequent urination, urinary retention, weak stream, pain on urination, etc. If the condition is not treated and controlled, urinary tract infections may arise. It may also lead to formation of bladder stones, incontinence of urine (involuntary discharge) damage to the bladder and kidneys. Because of its efficacy and safety, certain of the plant extracts (Serenoa repens, Hypoxis rooperi, Secale cereale, Pygeum africanum) are the tool of choice for treatment of enlarged prostate in many European countries. Various studies show that the key active substances in them are called phytosterols. These are similar to fat substances from pure vegetable origin, similar to cholesterol, but with very different biological effects. Their poor intestinal absorption and insufficient consumption of plant food leads to very low concentrations of these substances in the blood. Numerous studies have documented the beneficial effects on the immune system, their cholesterol decreasing, anticancer and anti-inflammatory effect. More than 20 years in Germany are used vehicles containing purified phytosterols to treat the unpleasant symptoms, associated with increased prostate gland. Three large, international, clinical trials demonstrate the effectiveness of purified phytosterols in these situations. Several hundred people with moderate degrees of symptoms (15-16 pieces points MPSI *) were examined. At the end of the study (6 months) a 50% improvement has been reported (7-8 points on the number * MPSI), which starts from infancy. Prostate cancer is the most common malignancy in men as incidence increases. Antioxidants selenium and vitamin E are associated with lower risk of prostate cancer if their dietary intake is optimal. One of the functions of antioxidants is to protect cells from carcinogenic effects. Large international studies such as ATBC trial and others have reported a significant reduction of risk (over 60% for selenium and 35% for vitamin E) of prostate cancer in the long (5-8 years) intake of selenium or vitamin E. It is suitable for influencing urinary function and urinary process in men with benign enlargement prostate. It removes the feeling of incomplete emptying of the bladder. Prostahelp protects and improves the function of the prostate gland. It contains a phytosterol complex, zinc, selenium, vitamin E – antioxidants against cancer cell degeneration. Prostahelp contains no sugar, making it suitable for diabetics.
