Description
The active ingredient of Cardesart is Candesartan cilexetil. It belongs to group of drugs called angiothensin II receptor antagonists. It acts by dilatation of your blood vessels. This decreases your arterial blood pressure. It also eases your heart in pumping blood around your body.
Indications
- treatment of increased arterial pressure (arterial hypertonia) in adult patients
- treatment of adult patients with cardiac deficiency and weakened function of cardiac muscle, in addition to treatment with ACE-inhibiting drugs (treating cardiac deficiency)
