Desctription
Perindopril is part of group of drugs called ACE-inhibitors. It acts by dilatation of the blood vessels. This makes easier for your heart to pump blood within the body.
Indications
- Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertonia)
- Treatment of cardiac insufficiency (state, where your heart can’t pump enough blood to answer all the needs of the organism)
- Reduces the risk of cardiovascular incidents like myocardial infarction in patients with stable form of cardiac coronary disease (state, in which flow of blood in the heart is lowered or blocked) and in patients who had myocardial infarction and/or surgery for widening of blood vessels
