The National Council on prices and reimbursement of medicinal products is working on a project that should provide citizens with access to information about medicines by SMS exchange and mobile applications for operating systems Android, iOS and Windows Phone. This was announced from there. The project will also provide Internet access to the contents of the registries, including the Positive List. People with disabilities can also benefit from this service.

The project is implemented with the financial support of Operational Programme “Administrative Capacity”, co-financed by the EU through the European Social Fund under Priority Axis III “Quality of administrative services and the development of e-government.” The total value of the grant is BGN 578 426 and the duration is 18 months.

Among the specific objectives of the project are: complete computerization of the interdepartmental communication by introducing administrative information system; building a modern and sustainable administration by developing optimized model of administrative processes, enabling the computerization of the Positive Drug List and registers of the NCPRMP.

The introduction of administrative information system and training of staff is expected to increase the efficiency of the administrative activities of the council and improve services to citizens.
