    Sertraline hydrochloride is an antidepressant of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class.

    Indications

    Sertaline is indicated for:

    –  treatment of symptoms of depression, including depression with symptoms of anxiety, in patients with or without history of mania; prevention of relapse of depression or manifestation of new episodes of depression after favorable response;

    –  treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD); prevention of OCD relapse as supporting therapy after favorable response;

    –  treatment of pediatric patient OCD;

    –  treatment of  panic disorder with or without agoraphobia; prevention of panic disorder relapse as supporting therapy after favorable response;

     

    –  treatment of post-traumatic stress disroder (PTSD); prevention of PTSD relapse as supporting therapy after favorable response;

    –  treatment of social phobia (social anxiety disorder); prevention of social phobia disorder as supporting therapy after favorable response.

  • Description

    Simvacor contains the active substance simvastatin and belongs to class of medicines called “statins”. Simvacor is a medicine used to lower levels of total cholesterol, “bad” cholesterol (LDL cholesterol), and fatty substances called triglycerides in the blood.

    Indications

    Hypercholesterolaemia
    Simvacor is indicated for treatment of primary hypercholesterolaemia or mixed dyslipidaemia, as an adjunct to diet, when response to diet and other non-pharmacological treatments (e.g. exercise, weight reduction) is inadequate. Treatment of homozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia (HoFH) as an adjunct to diet and other lipid-lowering treatments (e.g. LDL apheresis) or if such treatments are not appropriate.

    Cardiovascular prevention
    Reduction of cardiovascular mortality and morbidity in patients with manifest atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease or diabetes mellitus, with either normal or increased cholesterol levels, as an adjunct to correction of other risk factors and other cardioprotective therapy.

    Irbesso belongs to a group of medicines known as angiotensin-II receptor antagonists and prevents the binding of angiotensin-II to these receptors, causing the blood vessels to relax and the blood pressure to lower. Irbesso slows the decrease of kidney function in patients with high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes.

    Indications

    Irbesso is indicated for:
    – treatment of essential hypertension;
    – treatment of renal disease in adult patients with hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus as part of an antihypertensive medicinal product regimen.

  • Description

    Bromazepam is a benzodiazepine anxiolytic.  Benzodiazepines act by increasing the activity of gamma-aminobutyric acid, which is an inhibitory mediator in the brain. Bromazepam interact with GABA-A receptors to cause sedation, hypnosis, anxiolytic and anticonvulsant effect.

    Indications

    Bromazepam is used for the short duration symptomatic treatment of:

    –           emotional disturbances, tension, and anxiety, dysphoria associated with anxiety, neuroses, agitation, sleep disturbances;

    –            psychosomatic disturbances
