    Cleopa is part of a group of drugs, known as aromatase inhibitors. These drugs inhibit the action of enzyme, called aomatase, that is needed in production of female sex hormones – estrogens, especially in postmenopausal women. Lowering estrogen levels is a way to treat hormone-dependent breast cancer.

    Indications

    • Cleopa is used for treatment of hormone-dependent early breast cancer in postmenopausal women after 2-3 years treatment with tamoxifen.
    • Cleopa is used for teratment of hormone-depedent advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women, when other hormone trearment hasn’t prodused satisfying results.

  • Description

    Olanzapine is an atypical antipsychotic for the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

    Indications

    –  Treatment of schizophrenia;

    –  Maintaining the clinical improvement during continuation therapy in patients who have shown an initial treatment response;

    –  Treatment of moderate to severe manic episodes;

    –  Prevention of recurrence in patients with bipolar disorder whose manic episode has responded to Olanzapine treatment.

  • Description

    Apiri is a medicine that contains acetylsalicylic acid. Taken in high doses, it relieves pain and reduces inflammation, lowers fever. Apiri at lower doses reduces the ability of blood platelets (thrombus) to adhere both to one another and to the walls of blood vessels, which reduces the risk of blood clots (thrombus).

    Indications

    Apiri is indicated for use in the following cardiovascular conditions:
    – to reduce the risk of mortality in patients with suspected acute myocardial infarction;
    – to reduce the risk of mortality in patients with myocardial infarction;
    – for secondary prevention of stroke;
    – to reduce the risk of transient ischemic attacks (TIA) and stroke in patients with TIA;
    – to reduce the risk of morbidity and mortality in patients with stable and unstable angina;
    – for the prevention of thromboembolism after vascular surgery or other interventions e.g. PTCA, CABG, carotid endarterectomy, arteriovenous shunts;
    – for the prevention of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism after prolonged immobilization, e.g. after major surgery;
    – to reduce the risk of primary myocardial infarction in individuals at cardiovascular risk, such as diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, arterial hypertension, obesity, smoking and in elderly people.

  • Description

    ParaCeta contains the active substance paracetamol. Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic and is thought to be due to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, mainly in the central nervous system.

    Indications

    ParaSeta is an analgesic and antipyretic and is used for the symptomatic treatment of most conditions associated with mild to moderate pain and fever, e.g. headache, including migraine, toothache, back pain, rheumatic and muscular pain, menstrual pain, sore throat.
