    Co-Valstor contains two active pharmaceutical ingredients – Valsartan and Hydrochlorthiazide, which helps to control high blood pressure (hypertension). Valsartan belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin II receptor blockers”, whose effect is expressed in blood vessels and blood pressure. Hydrochlorthiazide belongs to the group of diuretics, whose effect is to increase urine output, which also lowers blood pressure.

    Olanzapine is an atypical antipsychotic for the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

    Indications

    –  Treatment of schizophrenia;

    –  Maintaining the clinical improvement during continuation therapy in patients who have shown an initial treatment response;

    –  Treatment of moderate to severe manic episodes;

    –  Prevention of recurrence in patients with bipolar disorder whose manic episode has responded to Olanzapine treatment.

    Injectable Nizatidine is shown for hospitalized patients as alternative of oral drugs for short term period for peptic ulcer.
